Novak’s quest for global love

Hindered by his biggest enemy

In a tennis world where the global love is split between two icons namely Rafa Nadal and Roger Federer, it was always going to be difficult to be an intruder, as the third wheel, even if one is as good as Novak Djokovic is. In the past 5–6 years, he has consistently shown how he could beat both Nadal and Federer in big games, and yet he has always found himself short when it comes to splitting that global tennis love three ways.

He is young, fit, healthy with many tennis records very well within his reach and yet, he is not Rafa Nadal or Roger Federer.
Perhaps, he never will be. And that won’t be because of his records.

There is one person who is preventing him from gaining that global love — his biggest enemy.

Novak Djokovic.
